Sangeet Piyasi
is an organization built
on the ideals of Guru Krishna Kumar Ganguly (Natu
Babu) whose objective was to promote and propagate
the rich heritage of Indian Classical Music. It
is with Gurujis benign blessings that we have crossed
eleven years, working towards the goal set out by
him.
Sangeet Piyasi
has its academic activities and it gives extensive
training on subjects like Table, Hindusthani Vocal
(Classical), Light Classical Music and Light Music
to young deserving students
In our endeavour to
help the needy music talents, we make arrangements
for free training and provide them with
scholarships.
We feel ourselves
honoured to help financially the musical students
who are now in a position of financial distress and
through the past eleven years we have tried to
follow this ideal.
Besides arranging
concerts, we also devote ourselves in organising
workshops and seminars in different places for the
betterment of knowledge about Indian Classical Music
among the ardent students and masses.
Sangeet Piyasi
has in its archive numerous cassettes and CDs of
many young talents of Classical Music and we cherish
to publish them without making any profit for
publicity of those musical talents.
